DowncoderUpdated
This is an updated version of the Downcoder applescript, for transcoding tracks in your iTunes library to lower bitrates. I have not added any features. The changes I have made are listed below.
- I have updated the script to work with iTunes 4.6 or greater. Older versions of iTunes are not supported.
- The script no longer offers the choice to downcode the entire library. I had very unreliable results w/ doing this, so I removed it.
- The user should only select tracks from the library view, not from playlists (smart or otherwise). I had very unreliable results when doing this with either the old or new versions.
